Card Payment Button in Ticket Entry

In this version of NCR Counterpoint, if your store and workstations are configured to process EMV transactions, a new ClosedCard Pmt button appears on the Payment Entry window in Ticket Entry. This button replaces the separate pay code buttons that previously appeared on the Payment Entry window for the credit card pay codes that were assigned to a store, allowing you use a single button to process any type of credit card you accept through NCR Secure Pay. In addition, if your store is configured to accept Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) transactions, the Card Pmt button also allows you to process EBT Food Stamp and EBT Cash Benefit payments.

If an Ingenico iSC250 EMV payment terminal is not defined for your workstation on the Device Management window (Setup > Point of Sale > Devices), the Card Pmt button does not appear on the Payment Entry window. Instead, a separate button appears for each credit card pay code that is assigned to your store.

When you click the Card Pmt button, the ClosedAmount dialog box appears, allowing you to process credit card or EBT payments just as if you had clicked the Complete button on the Ticket Entry window (or clicked the Auto card payment action, if it has been assigned to the Payment Entry toolbar).
