New server utilities

This version includes three utilities that are installed on each Counterpoint server and are accessible from the Start > Programs > Counterpoint > Utilities menu. These utilities include:

• Configure Local Services - This utility allows you to configure Radiant Counterpoint Service settings for your server, including the server's Primary Company and the Local Port through which the server communicates with its offline workstations (and parent server, if applicable). This utility also allows you to start, stop, and restart each instance of Counterpoint Services on your server without requiring you to use the Windows Control Panel.

• Provision Database - This utility allows you to provision (or re-provision) your database for offline use.

• Server Registration - This utility allows you to register a Remote server to the Hub server in a Multi-Site environment for data replication and top-level file distribution.

The Configure Local Services and Provision Database functions were previously only accessible from the NCR Counterpoint Management Console. These functions have been removed from the NCR Counterpoint Management Console and are now only available on the server's Start menu.
