New workstation utilities

Counterpoint includes two utilities that are installed on each offline workstation server and are accessible from the Start > Programs > Counterpoint > Utilities menu. These utilities include:

• CPServices Status - This utility indicates whether the offline workstation has connected to its site server within the last 120 seconds, whether Counterpoint Services is running, and whether the offline workstation synchronized with its site server. This utility also allows you to synchronize offline data immediately.

You can also access this utility from the notification area of the Windows taskbar.

• Station Registration - This utility allows you to register an offline workstation to the server to the Hub server in a Multi-Site environment for offline data synchronization and top-level data distribution.

This functionality was previously only accessible from the NCR Counterpoint Management Console. It has been removed from the NCR Counterpoint Management Console and is now only available on each offline workstation's Start menu.
