Common menu commands
The following commands are always available in the Buttons menu style, regardless of which menu you are viewing. Click each button or press the indicated keyboard shortcut to perform the corresponding action.

Closes Counterpoint (ALT+X). When you click this button, a dialog appears to confirm that you want to close the software. Click Yes to proceed. |

Returns to Counterpoint’s main menu (ALT+M). |

Returns to the previous menu in the Counterpoint menu structure (ALT+B). For example, if you are viewing the Purchasing > Requests menu, click this button to return to the Purchasing menu. |

Displays the NCR Counterpoint online help (F1). |

|
Scrolls up through the options that are available in the current menu. |
|
|
Scrolls down through the options that are available in the current menu. |
|
|
Carries out the command that is designated as your home action (ALT+H). By default, this button starts Touchscreen Ticket Entry for all users. You can change each user’s home action in Setup > System > User Preferences. |
